E-Tech Recycling Zambia Ltd. proudly represented the nation at the 5th WEEE Recycling E-Waste Conference, held on 18th October 2025 in Mombasa, Kenya. The conference brought together key industry leaders, policymakers and innovators from across the continent to discuss sustainable solutions for Africa’s growing e-waste challenge.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr Towa Chilongo, delivered an inspiring message that resonated deeply with the conference’s theme of African collaboration and innovation.
“We came together as Africans and came up with African solutions,”
— Towa Chilongo, CEO, E-Tech Recycling Zambia Ltd.

Mr Chilongo’s remarks highlighted the importance of collective action and African-led strategies in addressing e-waste management. His call for unity underscored a shared vision for transforming the continent’s waste challenges into opportunities for circular economy growth, job creation and environmental sustainability.
At E-Tech Recycling Zambia, we are committed to turning that vision into action. Our work continues to promote responsible e-waste collection, recovery and recycling, while creating awareness about the value of sustainable waste management. Through partnerships with ZEMA, ZICTA and MTN, we are building a national movement that supports a cleaner and more circular economy for Zambia and Africa at large.
